Summary

I’d say Who’z the Daddy delivered a fast and efficient service as promised. That said, I wasn’t happy that my test was carried out by a different company in a different country, and I thought £5 for kit delivery was steep.

Full Review

The Who'z the Daddy website was clear and easy to navigate compared to the others I’d researched. The order process was simple but another £5 was added at the checkout for kit delivery.

Ordering Experience

I received the kit the day after ordering and it came in an inconspicuous envelope marked ‘private and confidential’ – no one could have known what it was without opening it which was reassuring.

There were five pages of documents and instructions to go through in the kit, all professional and easy to understand. An addressed envelope was included to return the samples but I had to pay for postage. The next day I received a confirmation email saying that the samples had reached the lab, and that my results would be available in five working days.

The Results

Sure enough, five working days later I was able to log in to the website and download my results as a one-page PDF file (shown below).

Upon first opening the document it looked very confusing. There were lots of colourful badges and certifications at the top, and a large multi-coloured table which looked very complicated. There was an orange table at the bottom which said I was ‘excluded’ as the biological father, and a blue 'Statistical Results' table beneath this which said ‘Probability = 0%’ (shown below).

It was clear that I wasn’t the biological father but I wished the result had been easier to see.

I couldn’t see a single reference to Who’z the Daddy in the PDF and it showed the laboratory that had conducted the test was in New Mexico, which wasn’t what I was led to believe by the website.

Summary

I’d say Who’z the Daddy delivered a fast and efficient service as promised. That said, I wasn’t happy that my test was carried out by a different company in a different country, and I thought £5 for kit delivery was steep.

Who'z the Daddy?'s Response

Who’z the Daddy? are pleased to advise that results now take four working days from the day samples are received at our Brighton office, instead of five working days.

It is nice to hear that your reviewer found our website clear and easy to navigate, however, we believe there is still room for improvement. We are making continuous improvements and have waived the first class postage charge for posting a kit.

We used to provide freepost envelopes many years ago but discovered that they take longer to reach us than regular first class post. We also recommend that clients return their samples to us by Recorded or Special Delivery, so they are able to track their package if required. This is why we now provide a non-freepost addressed envelope in our kits.

When clients opt to receive results by email or post we include a covering note to help them interpret the results report, enabling them to see at a glance what their result is. We have a dedicated page on our website which also shows the difference between a positive and negative result.

Our results reports have been redesigned and clients can now see instantly whether they are the father or not, whilst still allowing them to review the profiles for each test participant should they wish to do so.
