Sibling Testing Reviews for northgene

I purchased my Peace of Mind DNA test and received my testing kit the next day. I received my test results so quickly after sending off my samples. Their friendly Customer Services answered all my questions about my results and gave me advice on how to proceed with a Legal DNA Test with them. Would recommend to anyone wanting a cheap, reliable and fast results.

I ordered a test sent it back they received 2/8/21 they never sent me a confirmation email to let me know they received it back never got my results on the date I should have 6/8/21 when it states online 3-5 working days. On the results due date I was told I’d have to wait until the 9/8/21 On the 9/8/21 I was told my test was inconclusive and had to be retested. The same day I was sent a report from the 3/8/21 saying not siblings. Can’t help but think there scammers and Eleanor the scientists did not do what she said she would do. She did not re test the inconclusive test she just sent me a report on the 9/8/21 that was written on the 3/8/21
PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY due to being told at 5 o’clock it’s got to be retested and then at 8o clock receiving last weeks report I can’t help but disbelief my report. When I called to ask Eleanor some questions she just shut me down and said “your not related” but she clearly told me on the phone on the 9/8/21 at 5 o clock without my mothers dna the test would be inconclusive. She then told me to send a email to there info saying proceed with out my mothers dna.
Don’t understand that when I was told at 5 o’clock wouldn’t have my results until 11/8/21 (2 more days )
then a few hours later I receive a report saying we share the same dna markers & frequency but we’re not related. Please don’t waste your money I’m not the only person dissatisfied with northgene service. And Iv noticed they always write a speech that seams fair under there bad feedback. Don’t be fooled.
I called Eleanor this morning 10/8/21 to ask did she retest the swabs like she said she would & I asked her to explain the report and she just simply said your not related. And they won’t re test
I don’t believe my report,
its very unfair it’s called peace of mind test and this company done the opposite from 2/8/21 -10/8/21 it’s not a great company. And I believe it’s a wast of money.

Have waiting 6 working days for results and then rang yourselves to be told it would come before closing on Friday have been waiting anxiously all day as well as all week to not receive nothing.
I rang yourselves at 430 continuously until 5 to be met with an engaged tone when it reached 5 o clock then went to answerphone.
This is unexceptable treatment I now have a anxious wait over weekend so presuming it come Monday that will be 7 days in total this is not what I paid for you state 3 to 5 working days you must understand the distress people are feeling whilst waiting on these results and to tell us on phone it is ready and will be sent to you by 5 is cruel and not acceptable

There’s a lovely team of people at North Gene, they’ve been really helpful and understanding and I’m not sure I would have had the nerve to see the process through had it not been for their reassurance

Thought that it would come back with an out come but it came back that they can’t decide so am still in limbo about my situation am so up set thought it would get sorted all theses years of not knowing and not wonting to do it while mum and dad was alive save there upset

I found NorthGene prompt in sending out the swab kit and the report was back within 5 working days. A great result for the family who want nothing more but proceed with a funeral service as soon as.

I contacted Northgene for help and advice following the discovery of a possible half sibling in Australia. Lea Lewis, Senior Client Liaison Officer, explained the process and responded to my emailed questions in a clear and friendly manner.
Northgene advised safe receipt of my DNA and again when the sample arrived from Australia giving precise information as to when the test would be completed. The email with positive results arrived within three working days and I was delighted to learn I had a brother.
Northgene is a professional company with amazing staff and I would highly and unreservedly recommend them to all.
