Peace of mind: Aunt/Uncle Testing
Very unhappy with my experience at GenTrace. Looking for a reputable company was stressful in itself. After narrowing it down, I chose GenTrace due to it’s website reviews, fast turn around time and easy access. Big mistake! There is no where stated on the website that the company is located in CANADA! In fact it states that it has many testing locations in the United States, it never mentioned Canada. I will say that I received the samples quickly via FEDEX and sent it back the next day. The details were outlined simply, but I was dismayed at the fact at how expensive the test was, with no pre-paid postage to mail it back in the letter sized envelope. It took around 10 days for the samples to reach Canada, and another few days for the system to be updated that it was received. The website stated that this particular test is processed and results available in 1-3 business days, which is why I chose it. When called the rude customer service rep, stated that the website is wrong and it takes 3- business days. Then proceeded to ask me for my password to my login. I asked to speak to someone else and she rudely stated there is no one else to speak to and if I call back everyone will say the same thing. She then went on to tell me that there is no supervisor or anyone to transfer me too, I can just hang up and call back to speak to someone else. It has been 30 days in this whole process and I am still awaiting the results. After reading some of the reviews on this website on the same company, I have had a similar experience. PLEASE STAY AWAY! There are better companies out there to help you in such a sensitive matter.
