Health Testing Reviews for Sema4

Honestly, I would leave negative stars if I could. We were directed to use SEMA4 for genetic screening in preparation for IVF treatment by SGF. All their documentation read that the most we would be charged for both my wife and I was, $349.00. You can imagine our surprise when we see a bill to our insurance company for over $20,000.00. Now here comes the fun part. Getting hold of SEMA4 as they hide behind a selective portal system. I repeatedly asked for a break down of the billing to see if it compared to what the doctor has ordered (of which SGF is also no help). Mean while my wife is in tears as this isnt a car repair, this is trying to have a baby and getting slapped with a $20,000.00 before even getting started. Shady Grove Fertility basically states not our problem. Sorry? You recommended them. Now SEMA4 has agreed to rescind the claim to our insurance carrier and only bill us $349.00. Again..Sorry how can you bill our insurance for thousands and when called out, turn around and bill us $349.00 Im still waiting on answers from ether SGF or SEMA4. In my opinion, dont ever use either!
