Prenatal Paternity Testing Reviews for Certainty

As a polyamorous couple, the reassurance of a paternity test was essential, even as I had taken all kinds of precautions with my other partners while trying to conceive with my husband. When our OB and other doctors failed to guide us, DDC was the answer. It was efficient and easy. I highly recommend it to any non-monogamous couple that wants to reassurance of knowing that intended father is indeed the father. Even if the chance is slim, you don’t want to take that chance!

During the testing, the testing center stuck my partner 7 times painfully leaving her bruised for days. Furthermore, I paid for expedited service and the test was not delivered until at least a week later.

My test was delayed after requesting the soonest result possible. I have not received a refund. This test cost too much and was done for a reason in a timely manner and you guys failed to deliver.

3 day results were actually 8 day results. Pricey.

My case worker was extremely helpful, understanding and professional however the turn around time has left me stressed and worried which we know isn’t great for pregnant women. Results were expected 11/23 (opted for three day turnaround) but I received an email 11/22 stating my due date had been pushed back a week. I understand it’s a holiday but my kit was delivered to the lab one week prior allowing for results to be back well before the holiday falling within the three business days. Time is of the essence in a situation such as this. Hoping my results are not further delayed. Praying for a positive outcome.

Prenatal adn test

Currently awaiting my results , I’m told I’m supposed to receive them 12/3 , hopefully that will actually happen , given from all the other reviews.

I ordered this test a month ago and paid more than $2,000, $300 for 3 day results. As of right now i have not received the results yet, i sent both samples already. I sent the 2nd sample a week ago and confirmed with UPS that the sample arrived at DDC. DDC lost the sample, per manager they had the sample and she order the labs right away yesterday, i just called today and they told me they don’t have the sample yet(i have been calling almost everyday), i lost time and money here(we know that this test is very valuable for us and we need it as soon as possible) i’m very overwhelmed and disappointed at DDC, just want my money back at this point :(

I paid $1,300.00 ft or a DNA test that should have the baby’s gender included. Unfortunately, the baby’s gender was not detailed. I paid a substantial amount of money for a test to include information and it makes me question the accuracy of the test if you can’t tell me the gender of the child. Reading the document I noticed my results were available on 12/22 but they did not release them until 12/27, they were just sitting around on someone’s desk. They sent me the results 1 minute before they closed so I could not call and speak to anyone about it. I called the next day and a representative named Melody told me that they were not able to give me that information because I possibly calculated my gestational weeks incorrectly. Once I was transferred to a supervisor she tried to argue with me and told me she doesn’t have time to go in circles. This is the worst customer service and lab work I’ve ever experienced. I also mentioned the fact that they offer an at home gender test for $69.00 but I paid $1,300.00 but the lab was not able to isolate the DNA that details the gender of the baby, the supervisor Detra, acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about.

I called and was told thry have appointments as early as next day and I said i saw website for results in 3 days. After payment am told they have to mail a kit out and for 3 days irs 300.00 more and then its still not results in theee days its three days from when lab gets it in which is 2 days. False information and none of it told me before they collected my credit card and over an hour wait on phone to set up

I went through a 3rd party to get this test done. I went to a local lab near my home where testing kit was overnighted to the testing lab. 2 days before I was suppose to get my results I received a call stating there was low fetal dna in my blood and would need to recollect. Cool, I’ve read this happens and sometimes a second sample is needed. I do a recollection next day and I’m told I would have to wait another 5-7 business days to receive results. Annoyed at this point because testing glut has been overnight on both occasions. Today I received another call saying I need to go back for another recollection for the same reason. This has cause the biggest inconvenience in my life.so I’m suppose to go on Monday or Tuesday for another recollection. If not giving blood to my OB is not enough. This is nothing to do with the provider I went through but the lab instead. How do I know this will not happen for the 3rd time? This is frustrating as I’ll have to wait another 5-7 business days if any results available. Did I mention that I’m also 27 weeks pregnant? Dry draining. When I originally tested I was 24 weeks 4 days pregnant.

My mum ordered DNA for my siblings since July 2020, and up till now as I write this review we are still painstakingly waiting to get result. They keep telling me that Lagos is not accepting kits. Its almost 2 years!!!. I paid for a service… Its been almost 2 years. Immigration is waiting for this DNA. We need this result ASAP..

Excellent, returned fast, 6 days. Very nice front desk staff. The Phlebotomist could use more training, as she had to poke me multiple times and she thought she was going to get away with only taking half of a vial of blood for one of the vials and I told her absolutely not it was not enough blood. She looked and she realized I was correct.

be sure to be exact on your range to prevent having to go back for redraw. Customer service rep was fabulous.

Our teen son got a girl pregnant. There were other potential fathers. It was nice to have the knowledge early that it was his child rather than waiting until the baby was born. The mother tried to mark no father known on the birth certificate. Having the DNA made it possible for him to list his name on the parentage documents at the hospital. It has removed at least that one item from the legal issues.

The test for my son was a check swab. The mother had a blood draw. We had DDC go to the mother’s home to collect the sample to avoid complications.

It was the right choice.

Worth the money if your peace of mind is on the line.

I had a very traumatic event occur and used the prenatal test. Results came back negative. There was only one other option. Assumed it was him the entire pregnancy and went to counseling for the event. My baby was born and he did the DDC paternity test and it came back negative as well. I was only with these two men- I called DDC to get some advice/feedback and see if there was anything that could be done. They offered me nothing- they pretty much just stated sorry take another test and then continued to push another test on my that I would have to pay for!!! The prenatal test was very expensive and I literally am caring for a newborn as a single mom at the moment. No compassion from the company whatsoever and they do not disclose in what cases the prenatal tests may not be accurate. Unbelievable

Fast and accurate, two things you definitely appreciate in a DNA test. Easy process of a simple blood draw from the mother and buccal swab from the father. I was several months pregnant and there was zero risk to my baby.

The test is legit. Tested at 9 weeks pregnant then again after the birth of my baby. Both results matched. Tested with alleged father during pregnancy. Tested with the actual father after birth and he was the father. So yeah. Only thing is, it took a while to get the results back.

Horrible experience with this company. I was told I was going to get prenatal DNA results being 7 weeks pregnant and that was not true. I tested at 9 weeks and had to test again at 10 weeks. I paid extra money to get the results back faster and they did not want to reimburse me the full amount I paid for expedited results. This process took almost two months because they lost my significant others results and made him retest. Every time I called to get an update and status of our tests, each person would tell me something different. Customer service was not helpful. Would not use this company again.

Fast results and accuracy on point they are efficient

They told me, in writing via email, that if I paid everything upfront I would receive my results within 2 days. It took 2 weeks and then they said they couldn’t fix it when I called in to check why it had been over 2 days.

Having to go through DNA testing can be emotional. I was given all of the information upfront and reassured when I had questions. I loved that I could call back and speak with the same person each time which made for a trusting experience. I highly recommend DDC for all testing needs.

Awful mixed up my results with someone else’s and did not get a refund

I have not retested since baby was born, but I believe my results were correct based on other factors! Dr recommendation being one! The process was simple & professional even with father being in another state. I called multiple times before & after to ask questions & all my questions were answered. Results came via email & mail within 2 weeks. Unfortunately the test didn’t relieve stress during the pregnancy for me because I overthink everything, but I don’t regret doing it or spending the money!

I know it sucks not knowing or being 100 percent positive on who the father is. DCC results were accurate. I personally think I should have waited till my daughter was born. I was fairly confident on who her father was, but spent thr money anyway.

I got tested on may 16 and didn’t get my results until June 3rd. thank goodness the results came back in our favor, because if not, we would’ve been out of the time for any other option.

Everything was simple and easy! I had a good experience I just was under the impression that when we got to the lab to get blood drawn they wouldn’t make it a point that we were there for paternity although I did tell them I wanted it done confidentially. The father in which is confirmed now, was told it was specifically for paternity. It was a secret but not really so I wasn’t to upset but everything went smooth and quick.

My significant other and I used DDC for the prenatal paternity test. It was 100% accurate. I knew for certain who the father was but I felt his family had a right to know beyond a doubt. This baby looks like her fathers clone.

It took multiple tries, 4 blood draws to be exact but the company did give us a discount for the multiple inconveniences and everything went smoothly once we recieved the results. You can test as early as 7 weeks as long as you enough fetal DNA in mothers blood. Everyone was very helpful and nice in the process and they were 100% accurate on gender and DNA. Unfortunately we suffered a miscsrriage at 13 weeks but Would highly recommend services.

Fast and efficient! The process was secure, everything is sealed right in front of you which is really reassuring. Customer service was knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. I used DDC in 2019 and again in 2021, life has thrown me some curve balls. Anyway, I did a prenatal paternity test both times. Both times results were accurate and confirmed after birth with additional dna testing. I remember being pregnant and questioning the validity of this test, it works. I promise. From one baby mama to another, it’s worth the peace of mind. I had my baby shower in full confidence.

We had the test done on February 23rd and got the test results by March 9th… I was told I’d have the results sooner than I received them but other than that issue. I was very happy with the process and company.

I had to go back twice to redraw – so I went 3x total to get blood drawn. As if going once wasnt bad enough . The first place was pretty much someone’s home turned into an office. It was a MESS and I felt so uncomfortable. The second place I went too I was stuck with a trainee so of course she could not find a vein which prolonged the whole process. I paid so much money and ended up waiting weeks from the day I initially paid which also made me further along in the pregnancy – which made my decisions even more agonizing. Horrible experience and I wish I could get my money back. I was too traumatized to even relive the whole experience and argue with the company for my money back.

Took 8 business days to get results back. Nancy was my first rep I spoke to, she was professional and polite. You can tell she read a script though. If you tell them you don’t want the baby’s gender but change your mind later they will require a $100 to rerun your test.I believe they should give continuous update for mental health purposes. This isn’t an easy thing to go through.

I ended my worries and anxiety with just one call!!! The results were in my hands within 1 week and the procedure was super easy! I was 4 months pregnant.

The test results arrived quickly which was very much appreciated but the case worker that I was in contact with was unbelievably unprofessional. I was attempting to figure out blood drawing logistics before Labor Day weekend and she got incredibly frustrated with trying to work out a glitch. I’ve never had someone in customer service be so blatantly rude (and I’ve been in customer service for 17 years, so I was the one trying to calm her down and soothe the situation). My only guess was that she was eager for the long weekend to start and didn’t want to be at work anymore. I tried to explain to her that I was paying A LOT of money for the service and I would really appreciate her taking the time to help me out but she just kept saying “that’s all I know. I don’t have anymore information,” and wouldn’t help direct me to anyone else. Absolutely appalled by their customer service.

I’m very happy with Julie who was assigned my case she was responsive and quick to answer any questions. Easy testing and wanted to know as early as possible for gender since I previously had a miscarriage.

Elizabeth was very helpful and understanding. She made the process so easy and comfortable. My mind was put at ease.

Didnt message me about my appointment just the fathers appointment then said id get ny results faster because of the mess up and then when i did go do my sample they lost it and i had to make another appointment to get re collected. Terrible customer service and chain of custody.

Really fast results and reasonable price break ups

Had some trouble getting through to customer service while needing some questions answered but once I did, the customer service was impeccable. Very friendly and answered all my questions! Even got the gender of the baby. Their services were pricy but worth every penny and my piece of mind. Finally able to move forward with having my baby girl!

I paid for rush results within 3 days still don’t have results 9 days later and now I have an email stating it will be another week from Today!.

The initial contact was great. Very informative and consistent. When we decided to book we were told we needed to book 3-4 days in advance but then scheduling called to say we could only book on tues/thurs which made it a week out. We were then told results would take 5 business days but we recd and email saying it would take 7-10. Abortion limits are based on your weeks along and had we known this, for safety, we would have called further ahead. We were then told the lab tech didn’t initial next to our IDs so the result was being held. We then had to agree to have a non legal result to get the results that day. Fortunately the results were in our favour and it all worked out but that was a lot of added stress that an expecting women doesn’t need.

The representative I spoke to on the phone explained everything clearly and wasn’t judgemental at all. I was quoted to receive my results by August 10th, and I received them August 3, which was only 6 business days after I had my blood drawn – and 2 business days after they received the samples. Highly recommend them for testing needs.

Took forever and got our names mixed up.

No problem with the testing process, but the results reporting is very misleading on the website – they state that test results are back within 5-7 days. Our results were back 10 days later. I’m sure this is because of the weekend and “non-business” days, but definitely nothing on the website that I could find indicating that. The contact person was very helpful and responsive, but, then no response from them when I questioned the length of time it took to receive the result.

You folks are amazing. Shout out to Nancy for helping me out along with all the other staff.

Great Service

Nancy was my personal case manager and she was great. Always answered my calls, or called be back in a timely manner to answer my questions. The test kit was delayed getting to me and getting back to the lab. The time extension between test request and results was long and disappointing.

I had to be redrawn 3 times and finally 3rd time was a charm. I hated having to wait to be redrawn but I understand why they make you wait. The customer service was awesome.

I originally got tested in January and had to go get tested three more times causing me to be farther along because I got a prenatal test done which I didn’t want people to know I was pregnant be almost three months after the original test is pretty hard to hide. The place where I got my test done at was horrible from the smell to the scheduling and the people. I thought it would be more professional for the amount of money I paid. They give me a little money back but it is was a very stressful process and I wouldn’t recommend going to them

A bit more expensive, which is the reason for 4 stars, but everything about the experience was 5 star! DDC staff was exceptional! Friendly, professional, understanding, and very helpful! Price does include sample collection costs (as long as they are done at a partner facility), which many others do not. I would definitely recommend using DDC!

Every time I called I wouldn’t get an answer was on hold for like 10 mins. Anytime I emailed they never responded with anything other then please call if you have questions.
