Health Testing by Juno Diagnostics

The Hazel™ non-invasive prenatal screening test (NIPS), also referred to as non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), is performed using a small amount of blood from a finger prick rather than a traditional blood draw. The screen has no risk of miscarriage and can be performed as early as 9 weeks into pregnancy. In addition to testing for the fetal sex, Juno Hazel™ also screens your pregnancy for common genetic conditions.

Just like the Hazel™ non-invasive prenatal screening test (NIPS), Hazel™ Plus NIPS is performed using a small amount of blood from a finger prick, rather than a traditional blood draw. In addition to testing for fetal sex, Juno Hazel™ Plus screens your pregnancy for common chromosomal trisomies as well as differences in the number of sex chromosomes.
