Prenatal Paternity Testing Reviews for DNA Diagnostics Center

I don’t usually do this, but i thought it may put some peoples mind at ease .. YES YES YES the prenatal peace of mind paternity test is accurate …for DDC anyway. I wish i would of done the legal one because then you get your names on the results… Some people are in denial without names, or use it as a excuse to question the results without that info .. so we took another test from a completely different DNA company and what do you know? the same results. I could take a star off because DDC never informed me i would need to get a legal Prenatal paternity test to use in court if needed and i wouldnt have my names on it If its not the legal test.. im sure it was in the fine print but DDC should make more of a effort pointing those things out as its cheaper so people will automatically choose the peace of mind option never really knowing what they are asking for.
Also i suppose i could complain about the 7-8 working
days wait.. BUT, i wont because the results were accurate,, and that’s the most important thing .. Any i got the results from DDC and another company and they both came back with the same results . Accuracy is what i wanted most and i got it. I would recommend

If you were contemplating the need to request the 3-day result turnaround, please do yourself a favor and ask for it just in case. Here’s what happened to us:
For our situation, we decided to go with the non-invasive prenatal testing. We had already been scammed by another DNA testing company, so we thought “better safe than sorry” and purchased the VERY expensive but legally sound DDC test. My consultant was aware of the awful experience we had with the prior company and assured me we came to the right place for fast, accurate answers. On May 8th, potential father #1 went and left his sample at his local assigned facility, while myself and potential father #2 left samples at our local assigned facility on May 11th. After getting no confirmation email that all of our samples had arrived at the lab for over a week, I sent an email to the customer service department on May 15th asking if they could help find the problem. After receiving no reply for 5 days, I called the help line on May 20th to try and figure out what the hold up was. The woman who answered informed me that they had never received a sample at the lab for potential father #1. She told me to have him call and follow up with where his sample was. When he called a couple hours later that same day, they told him his sample “might have been sent to the wrong department”, and placed him on a 20 minute hold while they tried to figure it out. Eventually they got back on the line and asked him to just schedule a new sample collection appointment instead for the following day, May 21st, and that they would have it overnighted to the lab. On May 26th, I finally received confirmation that his sample had arrived at the lab due to their closure May 22nd thru 25th for Memorial Day (which made the attempt at overnighting the sample to speed up the process a waste) and that results would be available online at 6pm on June 4th. I again sent a detailed email to the customer service department, as well as the woman who had sent me my appointment confirmation email because she was the only other email address I had for the DDC, the night of May 26th. I explained everything that had happened, clearly stating that their losing of the sample was not something we could control, and that we needed results before May 29th because potential father #2 would not be physically available after that morning, and potential father #1 was not going to be within cell service June 2nd through June 28th. Kimberly in scheduling was very helpful in reaching out to customer service to try and get them to contact me, but when they did a couple hours later I was basically just told “Sorry that happened, we asked the lab to monitor your case but that’s all we can do”. I sent another email June 2nd requesting that someone in customer service reach out to me to discuss how they could make this situation better, and still nothing. I ended up receiving results June 3rd, almost 4 weeks after the first sample was taken, over 2 weeks after our initial promised result date, and unfortunately we didn’t expect it to take so long. While I trust that these results are credible, I’m so upset I spent that much money to use a very professional, well liked company and was shown that they could not live up to the timing standards they promised or take responsibility and offer to help a situation they messed up. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else because it has hurt a big part of the excitement I should be sharing with my child’s father, who will not have service until the end of June because he is underway for the Navy, which is something that I’ll never get back. I will continue to reach out to them until someone cares to explain what happened and compensate me in some way for their mistakes. If I was giving this place a review just based on the experience, it’s no more than 1 star.

The sample collector explained the procedure to me in a great amount of detail. I would use this company again.

Okay so I’m just appalled at their professionalism. This was for my daughter. When I called for info the first thing the rep said is becareful we are the only real person everyone else is wrong. Which was way weird. When I asked okay so u do ur test. They said absolutely but after a lot of digging they don’t. So what’s the difference. It took more than two weeks just to arrange a collection site. I received results in 4 weeks , advertised at 3 days. I can’t deal with them anymore. A waste of money and time. I would put 0 stars if I could.

An excruciating choice but we finally went ahead with DDC in June and we definitely don’t regret it :)

Absolutely horrible, they claim they do their own test. They straight up lied. I got the results and at the bottom it said a company named Natera does the test. When I called Natera one lady said they DON’T DO PRENATAL TESTING …WOW!!. And I called again the next day and she was hesitant on saying whether they do or don’t she said kind of!! What is this a joke? How can apparently the most trusted company for Dna in the world not even do their own test and when I called ddc they said yes we run all our own tests. This is crazy. When I called them they say everyone else is a scam besides them. After my experience DDC is a complete joke.

I did NIPP test in December 2016 and today after one month from delivery of my baby I can confirm that NIPP test from DDC was accurate. I didnt do postnatal test but my little girl has specific characteristics from my boyfriend and family saying she looks a lot of like him. I saw many many reviews for this test, most of them was with accuracy of this test but as well few bad reviews and I was very afraid if the test was accurate in my case. My whole pregnancy was a big stress for me so ladies dont do it, enjoy pregnancy and believe in DDC technology.

Everyone was so nice and helpful, however I was miscommunicated some information. I also did not receive any notifications of when the samples were received in the lab and when the results were in which was disappointing. The only email I received was that I needed to make a payment. All I am happy with is that I was able to work out a payment plan and that I FINALLY received my results.

I was referred to DDC from my local hospital. I was looking into different more invasive forms of prenatal DNA testing but was reassured this company was very accurate. I was in an unfortunate situation where we needed to be rest assured. My children’s father and I set an appointment for blood work on myself and two swabs from him to confirm his paternity. I paid for rushed results to calm everyone’s concern and they were delivered at the 3 days as promised 3hrs. early than expected. So thankful for this company and their technology that was able to make way for this pregnancy to go on a whole lot less stressful and concerning. Thanks DDC! Everything was well worth it, I just wish I knew of this company sooner! Also, this was nearly impossible for us without the payment plans. I hope to never need to refer these type of services, but if I ever do? I definitely will refer to DDC

I only tested one in the end, and am hesitant about the results. I will be retesting when the child is born and can then change my review accordingly.

Ordering of the test was somehow complicated given that I am an international customer. In my experience a contact through e-mail or online is more helpful than a telephone call. Initially my kit was not shipped as expected, after a phone call inquiring about my collection kit, I was sent the wrong collection kit, I had to call again to get the correct kit. All of these resulted in a longer waiting time and several phone calls to finally get my collection kit. After that, results were received promptly, however I arranged over the pone for a 3-month payment plan, but instead I was charged the full amount on my credit card. Given the high cost of the testing I expected a better service.

I found out my partner is the father of my child with over 99.9% probability which is wonderful. Thanks again to DDC for their prompt and professional customer service!

Overall experience was very good. The only thing I didn’t like was, that I wasn’t properly informed beforehand that full and only right to obtain results has person who payed for testing. I had to ask my partner to authorize me in order to get full test results. This lack of info stressed me out a lot. As a pregnant woman I shouldn’t go through this. If I knew, I would have payed for testing with my credit card.

I went to the hospital on 11/14/16 to get my blood draw so they could send it to the lab to be test with the other person involved in the case with myself. We both understood that there was a guarantee time frame for 7 days which is the whole reason we decided to go with this company. We also understood that since it was the 14th and Thanksgiving was on the 24th that there would be a split in the week and we would be the results back on 28th of November. I called the hotline number to check on the case at about 3pm and the lady in prenatal let me know that they had noted on our account that they needed extra time. No one from the lab had called us to let either one of us know that the results would be pushed back. We called the person that helped us set the case up and let him know how disappointed we were about the situation. He did an amazing job by figuring out what was going on and how he could make it better. He refunded us $250 dollars and told us that the lab promised they would have it done by December 1st. On the 1st I was patiently waiting and never got an email from them so I called once again at 4pm to find out that they had delayed the information again until the 6th of December. The next day the hotline called me asking if I could go back to the hospital and give more blood so they could start the process over. As any other person I work a full time job and it’s out of my way to have to take time off work to do something that wasn’t done right the first time. Everyone that has called me to try and fix this has been very nice and understanding, which is a wonderful thing, but it does NOT make up for the fact that we were promised 7 days and it’s now been 14 office working days.
