Paternity Testing Reviews for Home Health UK

Extremely frustrating

Home Health UK emails me “Go have your test done elsewhere!” after I object to paying a random fee “to complete the test” – a hidden charge NOT INDICATED on their website. They simply REFUSED to process my pre-paid samples.
Before that, I had to pay additional £5 to ship their “Postage paid return envelope” back as it arrived with no stamp. The company gave me lots of attitude and zero refund.
Should have known this company is another online SCAM when their finger prick kit arrived with blunt lancets.

I’ve been increasingly interested in home-based DNA testing since I was diagnosed with Type-2 Diabetes. I’ve taken a health test to figure out my risk profile for other conditions, and a fitness test which gave me some priceless information about how I should train and eat better. I needed to get a ‘peace of mind paternity test’ and came to Home Health UK because I bought a blood glucose monitor from them in the past as a way to better manage my Diabetes. They were quick, polite and I got the result I wanted!

Was looking for an affordable DNA paternity test and Home Health UK seemed to fit the bill. The FAQ section of their website answered most of my questions and I phoned up customer service to get answers on the rest. Everything went pretty smoothly and I got the result I was hoping for. They also managed to cross-sell me a digital alcohol breathalyser test, a handy little piece of kit I will keep in the car just in case I ever need to check!

I was initially a little confused by the website because one paternity test seemed to be priced at £13.99 and the other at £99.99, but I then realised the first one was just a downpayment and that I would need to pay a further £85 when I sent my samples off to Home Health UK. I’m not sure I would have trusted a paternity test I could buy for £13.99!

Anyway after that initial confusion everything went very smoothly – I had some questions about spit sample collection which they answered over the phone, and I got my results back just five days after they received the samples – very pleased.

I ordered with a credit card online and received the ‘motherless’ sample collection kit for father and child, for a peace of mind paternity test on my son. We both provided saliva samples, paid the postage for sending them to Home Health UK’s laboratory, who confirmed receipt by email. They said I would get results in 5-7 working days after that, and they turned up after 6 days. I rang them up a couple of times during the process to ask questions, and they were polite and able to answer my questions (about accuracy of the test and possibility of sample contamination) – and was very happy to get the results I wanted! Easy to use and fast.
