Ancestry DNA Testing Reviews for Genetrack Biolabs

We ordered a DNA kit from Genetrack and it arrived in a timely fashion and that is were the good parts end when they have your money. The state they have never received the DNA and trying to get you money back is impossible. Please DO NOT use this company as they take payment and do nothing.

This company is part of the same company for DNA Ancestry Project and Genebase. It does only paternal ydna (father’s father’s father etc) testing on male line or maternal mtdna testing (mother’s mother’s mother etc) on female line only for past ancestry but doesn’t do autosomal testing for last 5 or 6 generations. The test is good for what it is and the website does historical figure, relatives and ethnic populations matches for this only. I have done autosomal tests with other companies like ancestry.com, my heritage, and FTDNA for ethnic breakdown as this test doesn’t show that.

Easy enough to sign up and pay the money BUT Waiting now 15 days with no kit in sight. They advertise they serve Australia, but in fact that is merey a local webscreen to divert to the USA. Tried telephone “local during business hours” (i.e. 6.00am – 11.00am Mon to Fri) but there is no real human being there only a machine to leave a message.
Emails get responses, but even then nothing much apart from “We will look into it.”
