Health Testing Reviews for Nebula Genomics

I love Nebula Genomics. It’s the only DNA health report that my doctor will actually look at, because it gives incredible detail. Most doctors today are very skeptical about DNA testing, claiming environmental conditions are the ultimate indicator of potential health issues. However, my doctor did explain that some genetic diseases are important to pay attention to, and was surprised Nebula provided results for these, again with incredible detail. I think the whole point of life is to understand yourself, and learn yourself, and nebula has opened that door for me.

Nebula amplified my 23andme results!
After I uploaded my 23andme raw data to Nebula Genomics they produced over 100 detailed reports with much more detailed information than 23andme provided – I found them very helpful and set me off on more research and blood tests to pin down my health risks.

Weekly library update emails are very nice.

I think it’s a great service. Mostly use friendly and provides a lot of information. However I think it would be interesting if 1- you provided a dumbed down summary of some of the articles on your site and 2- if you had the option to allow you to connect with people who have genetics that are related to yours.

I love how Nebula is different than other platforms, esp with reference to scientific studies and percentiles.

The study results are a bit technical. Would be nice if they were easier to understand for the everyday person.

I love Nebula’s mission and having the control over my personal genetic information. However, since I have started, I have not seen many opportunities to share my info for research or gain points toward a full genetic sequencing. The continuous updates on current genetic research and the comparison to my genetics is awesome! I would like to see more health related traits particularly with cancers (such as esophageal, pancreatic and prostate), heart disease, diabetes and other fairly common diseases. Also, some fun trait dispositions such as eye/hair color, height, weight, etc.

The information provided is definitely helpful is making some health decisions. I just wish they were more in-depth.

I’ve been with Nebula since the start and I couldn’t be more happy. I’ve learned a lot about my genetics and traits thanks to them. The library function is AMAZING! They constantly update their genomic library which means I get to stay up to date on the latest and greatest discoveries. Another amazing thing is privacy. YOU get to choose whether or not you would like to share your data or not, and if you choose to do so, you get credits every time someone accesses it for research. They also show the bacteria in your mouth at time of sample, and even allow you to get artwork of your own genetic makeup. (i haven’t got to try the artwork feature yet but it looks extremely cool.)
