After reviewing several labs to get a twin dna test for our two grandsons, I chose AlphaBioLabs based on price and quality of service.
The test kit arrived next day as promised. It was a fairly simple procedure and the customer service contact helped clarify what was required on the forms.

The result was emailed the day after the test arrived at the lab. We weren’t sure whether the twins were identical because they had separate placentas, but we couldn’t easily see the difference between them. The test confirmed that they were identical!

They are DCDA twins (have separate sacs and placentas) and twins also run in the family so as much as I really wanted identical twins, I thought they’d be non-identical.

For 26 years we believed that our twin boys were non-identical, as the consultant told me during the scan that the babies were in two separate sacs and that there were two placenta present which meant that they were non-identical.
