This company is amazing, I use them monthly, Nora is superb customer service and the testing products are excellent….Orivet is just excellent!

I ordered two Full Breed Profile Tests on 7th July 2023, Cost £200 (UK) Swabs arrived promptly but then it was downhill from there. I was unable to activate the barcodes on the website so went into the on-line chat resource for help. Giovanni told me to send the swabs off, as per the instructions, and they would be logged on receipt. Since then I have had on-line chats with different customer care agents who have given conflicting information. One of them deliberately ended the conversation! I have emailed all the email addresses and commented on their reviews page. I have had two brief responses and different people saying they would send out replacement swabs as the originals appear to have got lost in the post. Then no confirmation that they have been sent and no response to my email asking if they were dispatched. Dreadful service.
They are only get one star because minus stars are not allowed.

Wenn man durch die Firma anschreibt kommt keine Antwort. Test per Einschreiben gesendet und mehrfach per Mail nachgefragt-keine Antwort. Jetzt da ich den Fall via PayPal gemeldet habe kommt eine automatisch generierte Mail-wahrscheinlich nur weil diese Firma Sorge hat, dass das Geld rückabgewickelt wird.
Scheint sehr unseriös. Nicht zu empfehlen.

Waste of time and money, sent my test 5 weeks ago and still nothing! All I get is pending results, when I try to call I can’t get anybody to answer the phone. Do not use this company!

I’ve had over 30 dogs and pups tested with Orivet, either for the Full Panel disease DNA or for Parentage DNA. Orivet is the best DNA provider I have used. They have great customer service and contact you to ensure you are wanting the tests requested if they see a dog already has some testing. Their turn around time is quick as well. Their website is easy to use, information about the diseases are explained well in simple language so that anyone can understand why the test should be done. They don’t test your dog for diseases that are not carried by your breed. I know Embark claims to test for 156 diseases, but only 15 of the tests apply to Labrador’s DNA. It looks good on paper to say you test 156 diseases, but why charge to test for diseases that don’t apply to my dogs? (Orivet tests 19 diseases and 11 traits that apply to Labrador’s DNA) PawPrint is missing 10 of the common Labrador Retriever diseases. If you want the best and most thorough, go with Orivet!

paid $357 for 2 DNA test, but Orivet claim they I did not made any order. luckily payment was made through PayPal. Long story short, don’t get scam by Orivet.

Purchased DNA kit in July 2021, sent off swab immediately, it is now December and no results. Don’t waste your money folks it’s a joke.

I ordered PRA test on three Swedish Vallhunds. These were submitted in July. I have contacted them on several occasions and they never respond to my inquiries. One star is one too many.

Great service and very comprehensive report with action items

Relative bought the DNA test for one of our dogs, but when I registered it online before sending the samples in, they required me to pay again! Company (in Australia) were fine about fixing that. However, the test was a waste of money. We knew he was mostly chihuahua, but wanted to know what else was in there. Test came back 3/4 chihuahua, 1/4 “unknown breeds”. I already knew that! Terrible.

One star is too much. Not the first time I’ve had problems getting results from Orivet Australia! You’d think I would have learned from the previous 2 occasions where they provided incorrect test results. Still waiting for results 5 weeks after submission. Don’t waste your time.

It is obvious they did not do the DNA test – instead most likely looked at a photo on my email and Facebook accounts – which happens to be a picture of my dog that passed 3 years ago. That dog was a Rottweiler pit bull mix, which are the results they gave me. The dog I have NOW (with no pics posted online) has NO physical characteristics of either rotti or pit, but looks EXACTLY like a german shepherd, a breed not in the results at all. This company is a complete waste of money.

Orivet has poor customer service. Every time (of 3 times) I have phoned them I only get a recorded message. The customer service officer rings back the next day! so you can’t even talk to them on the day you call them!

Its fine if you buy 1 thing. But the Orivet O-Store has two different electronic shopping carts which ARE NOT LINKED to each other.
VICKI, the customer service person had NO clue about this, and basically implied that I was stupid and hung up on me.
NEVER BUY FROM ORIVET.
The menus from ‘Mixed breeds’, ‘Life plans’ and ‘Breed ID’ are one electronic shopping cart, while the other menus are from the other Shopping Cart. You must buy from each cart separately. Orivet staff do not know this!

Paid for test to be sent out 1+ months ago, it said sent as soon as i placed order…. and nothing!
I have been emailing , calling (disconected phone number provided!!) And leaving messages with no response.
Biggest scam DO NOT BUT FROM ORIVET!
Worst experience…. I’ll try another comnany now they have messed me around and wasted weeks and weeks of my time trying to get into contact!!!
